Mom's Flap Brod Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cups oatmeal

  • 2 cups flour

  • 2 cups bran flakes

  • 2 tablespoons sugar

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1/2 cup oil

  • 3/4 cup very warm water

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.

  2. In a large bowl, combine the oatmeal, flour, bran flakes, sugar, salt, and baking soda. Mix well.

  3. Add the oil and warm water to the dry ingredients. Stir until just combined.

  4. Roll the dough very thin on a floured surface.

  5. Cut into desired shapes and place on a baking sheet.

  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes or until lightly golden.

  7. Allow to cool before serving.
